Our beloved Buddy Bowersox crossed the Rainbow Bridge September 17th, 2026, at the age of 14. Buddy, also known as "Stink", "Budster", "Our Best Boy", was full of love, tenderness, a little spunk, and curiosity. But most of all he was full of love. 

He loved to play with all of his babies and most specifically Squirrel, Red Dog, Mama Duck, Baby Duck, and Monkey. Buddy deeply loved all of his family and knew exactly how to respond and interact with each of us. He loved everyone being together. 

When one of us left the house upon our return, he always met us at the door with one of his babies in his mouth and he would wait for us to love on him and then he would run to lead us to where the other family member was in the house. Again, he wanted the family together. 

There is no replacing Buddy. There is a massive hole in our hearts. The hole will gradually be healed by all the loving memories, photos and neighborhood tales of Buddy Bowersox. We love you. Words can't express how much we miss you. And we know that you're in a better place with Maggie, Jessie, Finn, Riker, Brutus, and Taylor.
