In Loving Memory of Miss Value

It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Miss Value, a beloved 17-year-old cat who was so much more than a store cat—she was a cherished member of the Gordon Hardware store family.

For years, Miss Value made the store her home. She greeted customers, kept a watchful eye on the daily happenings and provided companionship, comfort, and plenty of personality to the employees and customers who had the privilege of knowing her. To many she was not simply the store cat—she was a familiar face, a comforting presence, and a treasured part of their daily lives.

She had a special way of making the store feel like home. Whether she was quietly keeping someone company, supervising the day’s activities, or simply finding the perfect spot to curl up. Her presence brought smiles and warmth to everyone around her.

Miss Value is survived by her sister cat Miss True who shared her home and life along with the many Gordon’s Hardware employees who considered her family.

Though her paws will no longer walk the aisles and her familiar presence will be deeply missed, the memories she left behind will remain in the hearts of all who loved her.

She gave 17 years of companionship, comfort, and unconditional love—she will forever be remembered as a very special part of the Gordon Hardware family.
